MASIA ESPLANES is a great wine from the MASIA ESPLANES CELLER,elaborated basically with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Grenache and Syrah grapes, After a long maceration process, the aging is done in oak barrels during 12 months and in bottles for another year.
MASIA ESPLANES is a smooth and pleasant wine, with the necessary woodiness that identifies this type of well structured wine with complex smells from this area.
TASTING: A very intense colour with red and violet tones. Compact and complex smell, with clear signs of red fruits and spices. On the palate its firm yet meaty strength stands out; long-lasting with an aftertaste of spices and cocoa. It’s a wine with life.
COMBINATION WITH FOOD: Ideal with wild dishes. Red meats prepared with tomato sauces, bell pepper, garlic and dressed with herbs and traditional spicessuch as rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano, pepper and bay leaf. Splendid with strong cheese.
SERVICE WINE TEMPERATURE: 17-18°C.
