MASIA ESPLANES FARM is located 1,5 kms from Falset Village, at a very beautiful valley.The lands of this area were formed in the quaternary and they are mademostly by stone, gravel, mud and granite composition. These land sare important to the drainage and the better use of the vine roots. The production goes from 2,500 to 3,500 kg/Ha,. Reaching almost a perfect equilibrium and fruit ripening.

The cellar has an extension of 8 Ha. of vineyards, with a total of 17,000 vines grafted with varieties as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Charesón, Grenache Pais, Grenache blanc, Viognier and Carignane. A selection of well cared grapes and our wine elaboration process gives our wines a significant difference.

The names we give our wines come from the characteristics of this lands, which are part of our history since many years ago: In this way, we elaborate a "ROIGENC" rose born from a sunset; a black "VESSANTS" after the name of a parcel in our farm and a "MASIA ESPLANES" emerged from the finestcgrape selection of our vineyards.
